KALIBO FIRE

As of press time, there are more or less 450 houses that burned down in Kalibo last October 31, 2009. Members of the casualties were transferred at ABL Sportscomplex and some have makeshift of tents with their survived stuff along the Aklan River bank...and mending for their lost houses and need foods and shelter.

For those who are willing to join me in my cause to care for these victims, I am open for your donations.

Thank you to:

Fire broke from the Aklan Bridge (Purok 4) up to a long street of C. Laserna, Kalibo (Purok 2 to 4) in the early afternoon and no final news yet as of the cause of the fire. Vaguely, it came from a couple who were fighting as i was interviewing some residents...tsk tsk...the text brigade that there wa
s fire was from my new found friend Jindra who was the first concerned citizen who called up the Fire Station of Kalibo.

We need more blankets, sleeping items, cooking and eating utensils and clothes for the more or less 2 thousand people who are victims of the tragedy.

Today, we went directly to ABL and the area along the river banks to bring in hot food of arrozcaldo with carrots, stirred with tender, loving careful hands and donations of hot pandesal, tasty and burger bans, came from my friends around towns...

We also did some rice distribution during the feeding program.

Pls tex or call 09285540086 for more willing donations.

Thank you to all. More donations are coming. God bless!
